A Word On Insurance

We are committed to providing you with the best care possible to achieve total oral health. If you have dental insurance, we will be happy to help you receive your maximum allowable benefits. In order to achieve these goals, we need your assistance and your understanding of our payment policy.

Patient portion is due at the time services are rendered unless prior financial arrangements have been made. WE ACCEPT CASH, CHECKS, ATM CARDS, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS AND CARECREDIT. In order to process your insurance claim we need your complete insurance information at the initial visit.

We will gladly discuss your proposed treatment and answer any questions relating to your insurance. However, please realize that:

1.Your dental insurance is a three way contract between you, your employer and your dental insurance provider.

2.We are solely a Contracted Provider, with Delta Dental, Cigna, and blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. We agree to the fees and terms that these companies have presented to us. Every patient will receive a full insurance break down and explanation of their benefits, as well as a complete estimate of what their financial responsibility will be.

Dental insurance is a method of payment not a method of treatment. It is meant to ease the costs of your needed and desired treatment.
Dental insurance policies are ever changing. We will do our best to give you an estimate of what your responsibility will be, however, NO estimate is a guarantee of payment until the procedure is submitted as complete. Many insurance companies exclude certain dental procedures which you would be responsible for. Some of these procedures are:

1. Various Periodontal procedures
2.Composite, or White Fillings, in posterior teeth
3.Pins and Posts
4.Core Build Up Restorations
5.Whitening Night guards/Bruxism Appliances
6.Placement of Dental Implants
7.Local Chemo-Antibiotic Treatment

We emphasize that as healthcare providers our relationship is with you, not your insurance company. Filing of insurance claims is a courtesy that we gladly extend to our patients but all charges are the patients responsibility from the date services are rendered. We realize that temporary financial problems may affect timely payment of your account. If such problems do arise, we encourage you to contact us promptly for assistance in the management of your account.

We submit to ALL other policies with out of network benefits, and can explain the terms of such benefits.
